The conceptual model for future cultural center is based on the idea that a cultural center should create the culture, not just exhibit it. Gathering artist, musicians, and others who create and nurture culture by giving them a space to work on and create; and in return allowing the art, the performance, the music, the history to spill out and be presented to the public in the central square of the cultural center. This way the square becomes a gathering place for everyone, and because so many opportunities are created for visitors to see, hear and experience something new, it will be a lively place. This particular project is contextualized for the city of Kragujevac, but the conceptual model could be applied anywhere (especially in developing countries where art and culture are neglected).
